Thanks again for not only taking the time to read my novel, but for sharing your thoughts with your readers.

One small point of clarification...the lady that showed up at the door and handed over the kid was actually a relative (Aunt Nadine), not the Dept. of Child Services. I agree with you, doesn't work that way. As to the other "implausibilities," the story itself has more in common with Seinfeld (or Nick Hornby) than Law &#38; Order. Different strokes (the cliche, not the TV show!) and all that...

Regardless, I sincerely appreciate the time and emotionally energy you invested in my work. Thanks and have an outstanding week!
