Spooky…

I was reading the paper Monday (12/08) afternoon when I glanced up and saw a rather lovely young lady walking down the sidewalk towards my house. Being a red blooded, heterosexual male I of course decided to stand up to take a better look (I may be old, I ain’t dead!). I put my cane down on something. I looked to see what happened and to correct it, maybe five seconds in all, and when I looked back up, she was gone. I looked out in front of the house down our street and didn’t see her. I walked across the house and looked down the direction she’d been heading… and didn’t see her. She might have crossed the street right past the end of my driveway (I live on the corner of a T intersection) but there’s nothing there other than a massively overgrown lot. I didn’t see her at me neighbor across the street’s place, they were outside working on their lawn company gear. In a matter of seconds, she disappeared…
