Governor Charlie Crist just recently signed into law a bill removing the word/name ‘Shylock’ from ’statues against usury and other deceptive loaning practices.’ It’s the name of a character from a Shakespeare play. Nothing more. People read into it what they wanted and the jewish community took offense. Why? A word in some obscure legislature you’ll never read and no one really gives a crap about? How many thousands of our tax dollars were wasted on this bullshit?!
